Members Vote to Ratify Proposed Agreement with Playwrights Guild of Canada

Toronto, Ontario. (May 23, 2025) – The Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) announce their members have voted to ratify the proposed agreement with Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC).

PACT expresses its deep appreciation to its negotiation team Chelsea McPeake Carlson, Jimmy Blais, and Suzie Martin for all their hard work. PACT also thanks the many members who provided consultation and insight during the negotiation process.

The vote took place at PACT’s Annual General Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 23, 2025. PGC members are still to hold their ratification vote.
